Buck

Buckley has been great to me.  A nice warm family like envirorment im so happy i chose Buckley one of the greatest desions of my life.  I have established a group  friends that i know will be here for me for years to com and i will do the thing. I promise i wll give back each of you in great ways.  I plan for my daughters or sons to go here, unless i move to a small quiet town in Kansas.

There always a bright side to losing.

a Series that shocked the NBA and left me somewhat depressed for a few days. The Los Angeles Lakers shockingly get swept in the 2nd round. Although as a Laker fan i am very disappointed i know great organizations come back stronger. Here is a scenario that might help the Lakers get right back to the top. As much as i love Bynum, in order to get Dwight Howard we will most likely deal Bynum and a couple others to Orlando. And why you might be wondering Orlando is willing to do that? Because Orlando is in a very shaking situation where the future doesn't look bright there and Dwight will have the option to leave in 2012. To avoid a Lebron Like situation and not get anything in return Andrew Bynum will be their best offer for Dwight they can get. With Dwight Howard the Los Angeles Lakers without a doubt will be back to the top.

Review on Yesterdays south park funny bot

Yesterdays south park was the perfect therapy for me after a tough laker loss. South Park was about how the kids at the school decide to have a comedy award. The point of the episode was to show how comedy award shows are not the best ideas. The kids in the school voted the Germans being the least funniest people in the world which brought news to the Germans to create a funny bot to boost their reputation. The German creation of a funny bot was a perfect creation making them funny again and having the world rave about this funny bot. The funny bot was actually funny which suprised me i tought it would have been just stupid. Lastly South Park poked fum at multiple celebrities which was funny to see them animated and angerdd towards this Funny bot who was taking the attention off them. Overall it was a 6.5 out of 10 episode but i believe it should be viewed bcause its still very funny.

MY visit to South Park studious

Last weekend i visited South Park studious and got to see the offices of where the greatest cartoon on television is made. I was toured by a guy named Eric who helped Matt Stone and Trey Parker create the show. When i walked in the builing there were picutes of South Park and Team America everywhere. Everyone who worked there seemed happy but I can tell they were really stressed, mainly because South Park makes an episode pretty much in 3 days. I was told sometimes people who work there stay up 24 hours working on South Park. I also got to see some clips on next wednesday episode without the animatiom completed so it was pretty much the drawings and the voicesover it. After seeing how south park is made i hope one day i get to o voices for a cartoon likee south park.

Boston miami preview

The NBA has got a conference final match up in the secnd round. The association has great rating coming its way. i believe Boston will win in 6 heres why. Miami's super 3 won't be enough to beat this tough experienced Boston team. Miami's lack of a PG and a center is going to come to haunt them especailly in this series. Rajon Rondo will be the reason Boston will wn this series, nobody on theheat will be able to keep up with him. Now defensivly, Boston's tough team defense will force players other than the super 3 to make a lot of shots and i dont know the if those players are capapnle of shooting at a high rate the whole series.

NFL rule change

Then NFL recently moved the Kickoff to the 35 yard line in order for less injury. I am comleted angered by the votijg of NFL owers on this reform. Now alot of kickers will be able to kick the ball out of bounce out of the end zone preventing kick returns which takes alot of the excitement in the NFL. NFL fans will see less kick off returns from incredicble speedster athletes like Josh Cribbs, Devin Hester, and others. Fans want to see these special type players work their magic and now they can't. Will it cause less injuries though? I dont think moving the kick off won't change the severity of when a player tackles another player. IN coonclusion I really hope the rule change does not last.

Hello Boston, Orlando,and Miami we are the Bulls.

The eastern conference has welcomed a new power house team in the Chicago Bulls. We all knew the Bulls were goimg to make the playoffs but who knew they would be competing for the first seed in the Eastern Comference? We all knew Derrick Rose was a star but did we know he was a suepr star? Derrick Rose has been leading his team in super star like fashion and has indeed proven to be the best point guard in the NBA and is well on his to winning his first MVP. Ofcourse Rose cannot carry his team alone he has been very fortunate to have the two big men in Joakim Noah and Carlos Boozer really proving an inside presence. watch out everybody Bulls Lakers finals calling it now!

FREEWAY

The Freeway for the land of success

Many have fantasized and they all have read
They read "Success is finally Near"
Wiping out the fog from my window to see my local liquor store cashier
His wide open eyes were filled with hope
Unknowing of the deceiving road leading towards the slippery slope

Time has past the hope was crawling away
The once sunny sky slowly became gray
There were many exits people neglected
It was time for me to get disconnected

Moving at such a slow rate
My future did not have time to wait
I took the next exit not knowing where i was to go
Transferring me to a lonesome road, I was a one man show


I knew it was my destiny to take a different path
Just took me a little while to do that math
Cruising through life began to make me wonder
I had a feeling the deceiving freeway of success lead to nothing but thunder

LAKERS REVIEW

a couple losses, and multiple wins fluctuates the critics views on the Lakers. Many Critics jump from Lakers not being an elite team to being the supreme team in the NBA, it seemed their views changed every week. After winning two back to back championships it might be normal to start a season a little slow with the attitude of having to play a full season already knowing your the best team. The first half of the season to the Lakers was a waste of time. Into March of the the 2nd half of the Season Lakers are currently the hottest team in the NBA with critics raving about their high chances to 3 pete. As the season progresses the less they get bored, and start to smell the sweet scent of that ring on their fingers. If Lakers continue Locking in on Defense and the key to their Success, Andrew Bynum playing at a high level there is no stopping L.A.

Conformity

Whenever i find myself conforMing with a large group of people, a voice comes iin my head saying " do something else". Ive always like to do things the different way in life rather than do it like everybody else. I refuse to conform just for the sake of conforming but conform only if i individually choose to do so. In a class room I I'll individually choose to conform simply not to fit but to preform as a student to the best of my abilities, same thing gors with following the rules. I can easily break the rules but I INDIVIDUALLY choose not to because i want to be the best student I can be!

GRAPHIC NOVEL

I Did not picture from the graphic novel is not at all what i came up with my imagination. I imagined Gregor as an 8 legged insect type creature with a big fat body of a bug, but a head of a human. Greggor's face in the graphic novel kind of looks like a cricket rather than the human face i imagined. The Black and white imagery really illustrates the hopeless the Family especially the sister has for Gregor's transformation.



2. Kafka's description of the family on how lazy they are, forces the reader to sympathize with Gregor. Kafka uses words such as "Sluggish" to describe the father and to lazy to make it across the room in describing the mother. Kafka even has the vermin looking member of the family who was the one making money for the family before! How can we not sympathize with Gregor who was the ONLY one making money in the family and now he is a VERMIN!!

Discussion thing

Yesterday's class was a pretty interesting process in how we built on a good discussion without the help of a teacher. It was similar to a snowball effect in where the idea got bigger and bigger the more it bounced off each other. I enjoyed talking about the possibility of waking up as a Vernin. I asked the question yesterday would "your outlook on life change" as everyone aggressively answered of course, i interlay disagreed with them. If i were to wake up as a monstrous bug my outlook on life wouldn't change. I would make the most of everything I have and live each day to the fullest. I would take advantages of some of my differences and have fun with it. I would learn to love myself for it, I would learn to make money off it for helping my family, and lastly i would learn to make the world a better place because of it.

Essay Intro

The unconscious desires of human beings that are within our "Id" are powerful motivators that drive our behavior. Critic Murfin points out that no one, no even the author of a literary work is immune from his or her own sub-conscious desires. As Ross Murfin suggest, an author may write in order to "gratify secretly some forbidden wish" (118). This unconscious wish makes its way into the text by the process of displacement. In the "Heart of Darkness", Joseph Conrad explores a dark world of colonial Africa, and in doing so, plays out his own desire to be free of moral responsiblity like his strange, crazy character Kurtz. Conrad is trying to satisfy his own dream for unbridled power and Godlike status. The heart of Darkness is really in some ways a journey to Conrad's own Dark Heart at the center of his heart and soul.

Essay ideas

1. Heart of darkness is a really an expression of Conrad's own desire to be a ruler.

2. Heart of Darkness can be seen has representing the Freudian structure of the subconscious with different levels of the human mind represented by the journey of the heart of Darkness.

3. The heart of Darkness represents Conrad's unconscious fears about the world. He shows Africa to be the Dark and scary place and a place that is barely understood by him. In the book he barely mentions any African peoples name and does not give them any dignity or identity.

The painting of a women holding a torch blind folded symbolized Justice. Kurtz idea of the painting is that Africa is similar to the Blind folded women in the sense that it has no direction making it difficult for Africa to prosper. In addition the painting can represent Marlow's journey to Africa with only his torch a light going exploring a world that is struggling and has no direction.

Heart of darkness question two

Marlowe believes what was done with the Roman Empire can be done with Africa. Marlowe uses great imagery in describing London through its hard times and how it soon revolutionized after colinization. After colonization London became a very rich and powerful city. Marlowe sees that Africa has enormous potential to be as successful as London during its colonization.
